For a city with such a long and celebrated Chinese history, we’ve been a bit light on the ground when it comes to dumpling offerings… until now!

Open Tuesday-Sunday for lunch (11am-2:30pm) and dinner (5pm-10pm).
Here’s a review from resident foodie, Nicole Murphy – Dumplings Anyone?

Bendigo Community Farmers’ Market
Sidney Myer Place (off Pall Mall)
The market is held on the 2nd Saturday of very month and you can purchase delicious handmade dumplings and spring rolls cooked on the spot from Castlemaine’s Taste of the Orient.

Golden Dragon Museum 1-11 Bridge Street 5441 5044
Yum Cha is held in the tea rooms at the Golden Dragon Museum on the third Sunday of every month, except in April (due to Easter) and in September (due to the annual Harvest Moon Festival)

…and if you LOVE dumplings like we do, try the Eastern European pelmeni available at Bendigo Wholefoods (314 Lyttleton Terrace). You have been warned: they are AWESOME.
