Goldfields Libraries hosts a wide range of free children’s activities during the school term throughout the year, as well as special activities in the school holidays.

Storytime
Read-aloud stories, songs, finger plays, action rhymes and a craft activity to suit children aged 3-5 years and their parents/caregivers.

Toddler Time  
Simple stories, finger plays, songs and rhymes for 0 to 2 year olds. Have fun and learn together from your positive role modelling of interest and participation.

Hey Dee Ho Music
Although Hey Dee Ho are no longer running parent & child classes, they do run free monthly music sessions with an Aged Care home in Bendigo and invite families to come along and sing and dance with the elderly residents. Mainly Music
A fun music group for parents or primary care givers to enjoy together with their young child. Throughout the morning, children develop gross and fine motor skills, language, imagination, mathematical and pre-reading skills as well as socialise with others. Each mainly music is associated with and is run by volunteers from a local church. Children are introduced to music, creativity and more.

There are a number of Mainly Music classes in Bendigo:

Two sessions run, but there is a waiting list; best to ring and speak to Leah first.

    Don’t forget RPM do classses for adults and children. If you have a budding rock star, this is the place to go!

  3. Could you please tell what things are taught to children 🙂 My 7 years old daughter has a singing competition next year, so i’m thinking to get her prepared for that
