On Australia Day (26 January 2017) there are heaps of activities on in Bendigo.
The official Australia Day ceremony in Bendigo is at Lake Weeroona at 10:30am. Festivies go from 10am-3pm, including the Rotary craft market.
There are also official ceremonies in Axedale, Eaglehawk, Elmore, Golden Square, Goornong, Junortoun, Kangaroo Flat, Heathcote, Huntly, Maiden Gully, Mia Mia and Strathfieldsaye. More on the CoGB website here.
Free pool entry to outdoor pools
To keep you cool, there is FREE entry to all the outdoor pools too – Bendigo Aquatic Centre, Bendigo East, Brennan Park, Elmore, Golden Square, Goornong, Heathcote, Kangaroo Flat, Marong, Raywood and White Hills.
