The cooler weather has well and truly begun to kick in! As the colder months see us enjoying our Sunday brunch surrounded by four walls, we have put together a collection of the restaurants and cafés in Bendigo with a great view-so you can admire the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors.

Gallery Café

42 View Street, Bendigo

With a view of the beautiful Rosalind Park, the Galley Café is not to be missed. A feature is its many glass windows, which make up the entire wall on the Rosalind Park side of the Gallery. With its convenient location, what better way to explore one of the largest and oldest regional galleries in Australia than with a delicious breakfast and lovely view.

The Dispensary Bar & Diner

9 Chancery Lane, Bendigo

This cosy space popped into our list due to its location in the intimate Chancery Lane. The view inside The Dispensary features walls lined with a huge selection of wine. Nothing like a delightful dish with an accompanying wine to warm you up! From the restaurant, the view outside becomes magical when dusk hits and fairy lights laced along Chancery Lane come to life.

Yard Bird Bar & Kitchen

Corner of Pall Mall and Williamson Street, Bendigo

Located above the Hotel Shamrock, Yard Bird looks out over Pall Mall and across to the Historic Post Office and Rosalind Park. The balcony allows visitors to soak up the wonderful scenery, and during the cooler weather the heating is cranked up and the balcony completely sealed off providing a cosy atmosphere with a beautiful view.

The Boardwalk Bendigo

28 Nolan Street, Bendigo

Offering “one of the most breath-taking views in Central Victoria”, The Boardwalk does not disappoint. Situated right on the edge of Lake Weeroona, this café provides its visitors with an impressive sight. Surrounded by lush green grass and the shimmering lake, visitors are carried away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and can relax and take it all in.

Balgownie Estate

46 Hermitage Road, Bendigo

Visit one of the pioneers in commercial winemaking in Bendigo that first began planting grapevines in 1962. Relax amongst the vines with a glass (or a few) of local wine. Balgownie Estate provides the opportunity for guests to wine or dine, overlooking the magnificent views of the Bendigo vineyards.

Let us know your favourite restaurant or cafe with a view, we are always looking for new places to try!
