Since COVID we’ve seen the rise in super-cute community book libraries. Often called a Little Free Library or Street Library, they are a free small, often weatherproof, boxes or bookshelves placed in public spaces or on private property (with permission).
Anyone can take a book or leave one for others to find. They beautifully foster a sense of community and promote literacy.
Of course of public libraries are a fabulous resource, but sometimes you just need a book to read when they’re not open.
