Sunday, a day of rest. And so it is for many of our café folk in Bendigo – and rightly so! They need a break too. There are some crazy people that do still get up at the crack of dawn to serve us on a Sunday and they are:

Edwards Providore
150 Condon Street

Stocking the finest local fruit, vege and deli items, you can count on fresh and delicious food from Edwards. With a modern, extensive menu, your Sunday brekkie options seem never ending! We love the Edwards Benedict, great pulled pork, perfect poached eggs and delicious hollandaise. If you’re feeling inventive on a Sunday morning, check out their Instagram. You will find local food inspo at its best, where you can go in and collect the ingredients to cook up your own Sunday storm. Open 7:30am to 4pm Sunday.

The Everbean Café

With very generous portion sizes and delicious meals this little café is the perfect place to fill your tummy and relax on a Sunday. If you’re a sweet tooth you must try their freakshakes – like milkshakes on steroids. If you’re after some more ‘appropriate’ breakfast options they have plenty . The Whole Food Bowl will end your week on a healthy high with roast pumpkin, cherry tomato and grilled halloumi – yum! Open 8am to 4pm Sunday.

Open from 8am Sunday, if you’re an early riser Cortille is the place for you! Known fondly as the café with the caravan inside and with focus on fun, Cortille will surely brighten up a quiet Sunday morning. Serving brekky all day so that those who like a later start on a Sunday the morning won’t miss out. They sell delicious waffles and you can design your own with an extensive range of toppings.
