Ride2Work on Wednesday 17 October for a better way to start your day!

There will be a free community breakfast to celebrate in Hargreaves Mall. Festivities kick off at 7:30am and include music, community and bike shop stalls and other entertainment. Breakfast is served between 7:30am and 8:30am.

With help from Bike Bendigo, we’ve researched the best places to park your bike, so you can get up, get your helmet on and get on your bike!

Bike parking in the city centre
There are a number of hoops in the city centre to park your bike, just remember to bring your own lock. Bike Palooza Bendigo will provide bike parking near the free breakfast, riders are encouraged to bring their own locks.

Hargreaves Street multi-story carpark
Undercover, secure and FREE! Also a perfect location, right in the centre of the CBD. This is an easy spot to get to, enter via the internal vehicle access ramp off Hargreaves Street. All you need to think about is supplying your own lock.

Edwards Street Multi Story Carpark
Another great location, right near Target Bendigo. This carpark is also free, undercover and secure. Once again, you just need to remember your lock! Access this park via Queen St, through the lane way located adjacent to the vehicle entrance.

Bendigo and Kangaroo Flat Train Station
Did you know you can park you bike at the Train Station? Public Transport Victoria offers a FREE service called Parkiteer, a secure cage with 24-hour access, in which you can safety and easily park your bike. If you work near the train station in Bendigo or commute from Kangaroo Flat into Bendigo, no need to worry about trying to find a carpark. You can register to use Parkiteer, and get you access card here:  https://www.bicyclenetwork.com.au/our-services/parkiteer/usingparkiteer/

There are still a number of events until the conclusion of the Bike Palooza Bendigo on 28 October. You can find them here: https://www.bikepalooza.com/events/2018-10/
