Who wants to cook on a Sunday night? Usually not us! This is a list of our favourite places to dine out on a Sunday night.

Harpoon Social Club

36 High Street
The newest, coolest place in town with ramen, bao, food to share (if you’re so inclined) and a fabulous selection of gin, whiskey, beer and wine (but not necessarily in that order). Bookings for 6+ only. Cooking ’til late. Get the loaded fries!

Clogs Pizza Restaurant

106 Pall Mall
Craft beers, delicious Homestyle Italian/European cuisine, and desserts to die for. Clogs always has a great atmosphere. The staff are helpful and friendly and you can choose from heaps of items on the menu – don’t stress if pizza is not your thing. Open ‘til 10:30pm on Sunday nights.

Flight Bar & Bottleshop

8 Centreway Arcade (just off Queen Street)
Flight Bar open seven days from midday til 8pm; cooking all day. Purveyors of Southern Friend Chicken and proud stockists on independent beer, wine and spirits. They also have fried pickled ‘shroom burgers for those not fans of the fried chicken! (Although who couldn’t be fans of that, except um vegetarians, we ‘spose). We’re looking forward to trying the ‘chip sanga’.

Mexican Kitchen

28 High Street
An extensive menu of Aussie-style Mexican and Spanish dishes. Choose from the classics, think tacos, quesadillas, enchiladas and nachos, or try something new from their extensive range of comidas (mains). Open from 5:30 ‘til late Sundays.

Borchelli Ristorante

105 View Street
A quaint, Italian-style eatery, offering traditional dishes at reasonable prices. Most of their dishes come with the option of a small or large serving, which we love. They are cooking all day, every day, from 11:30am to 9pm, the perfect spot to fill your tummy with all the good stuff on a Sunday night.
